In this guide i will show you how to get started on Leedlescape, and provide extra information where available.
This is not how you should play Leedlescape, but the steps in this guide is my personal recommended guide line.
You most likely already know Leedlescape is a server with customs, which means there are low drop rates i will not include any rates in this guide.
If you have any criticism or found the guide useful please leave a reply.
*First log-in/getting the basic items
As you first log-in you'll find yourself at home with a starter package, which is providing you the basic items.
The first thing you should do is trade Giles and Tzhaar-Mej-Roh at home, you're willing to buy an amulet of strength and barrows gloves to equip.
Next up is killing rats and goblins to gain some levels, you can find them at 'Training' in your spell-book on the right of your screen.
*Making improvements/getting items
After you gain some levels at the beginner training, you want to build up your set-up and improve your hits/Stats.
Leedlescape is a server with custom items and NPCs, which means you mainly are going to spend time doing PVM.
I will highlight some NPCs here, which are recommended to start at to get some better items.
Note: You can find a list of some of the NPCs here and check their drops: leedlescape.freeforums.net/thread/12/monster-drop-guide
-Shadows
Dangerous: No but they can hit 1-4 regularly (Food is only needed at a low combat level)
Shadows are found at the command ::shadows.
They drop PVP based items such as Zuriel, Morrigan, Statius and Vesta.
The main drop you want to look our for, is the vesta longsword which is a great starter weapon.
-Strangers
Dangerous: No, but they can hit 1-2 regularly (Food is only needed at a low combat level)
Strangers are found at the monster teleport in your spell-book.
The main drop you want to look out for are strange boxes, which contain a variety of good items.
Note: You can find a guide on the strange box rewards here: leedlescape.freeforums.net/thread/19/strange-box-rewards-mini-guide
-Phoenix
Dangerous: Yes, Phoenix can hit up to 60+ when not using Protect Melee (With Protect it will hit 1-5 regularly, food is recommended)
Phoenix is found at the command ::phoenix.
The main drop you want to look out for are the custom bandos chest plates, it drops many types but any of them will be good for your starter set-up.
Note: You can buy Dragon bones at home for 1 coins each and use them on the altar at home, for quick Prayer training
-Bigswole
Dangerous: No, but he can hit 1-3 regularly (Food is only needed at a low combat level)
Bigswole is found at the command ::bigswole.
The main drop you want to look out for are the custom capes, it drops three types the beautiful cape is currently as of known the best of them.
-Barrel chest
Dangerous: No, but he can hit 1-2 regularly (Food is only needed at a low combat level)
Barrel chests can be found at the command ::barrel.
The main drops you want to look out for are the Kunai swords and the ancestral keys, the sword is very strong and the keys can be used at the black chest found at home.
*Choosing your destination/goals & achievements
You should have a very decent set-up by now, which means you're ready to fight the bigger monsters to improve your account.
It's up to you if you're going to max all your Stats, go on rampage and kill the Sea Troll Queen for the powerful Tri-godsword.
Or you challenge yourself with Slayer tasks, to gain access to several NPCs that require a high Slayer level.
If you have any questions you can ask players in-game, through yell or PM me and i'll do my best to assist you.
I hope this short starter guide has some meaning to the new players, i wish you the best of luck with obtaining custom items.
